Fall Bucket List

Fall is one my favorite seasons. Its cool and brisk, the leaves are changing, we get to bundle up in sweaters, and drink all the pumpkin spice lattes we want. There are pumpkin patches, apple orchards, and yummy treats. I love all the fall activities. However, I am a homebody, so if I don’t actually write these things down and commit to them I will easily talk myself into staying home and introverting, which is why I wanted to make this fall bucket list and maybe it will encourage you to get out and enjoy this beautiful season.

Try New Coffee Recipes at Home
I love coffee year round, but what better time to experiment with warm drinks than in the fall. I have actually already started this one, so far I have been able to try about one new recipe a week. Pinterest and YouTube are great resources for finding new recipes.
Go to a Pumpkin Patch or Apple Orchard
We have an apple orchard near us and we have never actually gone as a married couple, let alone as a family (there is that homebody coming out). This fall I would love to go, not only because I would enjoy it, but because it would be a great family activity. Our son loves being outside and he may even enjoy the petting zoo. This one is a must for this year.
Drive in Movie
I have always loved going to the drive in. My dad always made it a big family to do. He would stop and buy some treats and we would go to the drive in as a family. While I still love the drive in, it isn't quite as easy with a baby who has an early bedtime. Recently we did an outdoor drive in movie at our house. My husband and I piled some blankets and pillows into the back of our SUV, popped some popcorn, and watched a movie outside while the baby was asleep in the house. All you need for this is a projector or a laptop you can watch your movie on.

Have a Bonfire
We love bonfires. The crackling fire, the ooey gooey s'mores, the fun time with friends and family. We have two different fire pits in our yard and yet in the 2 years we’ve lived here I think we’ve only had two bonfires. This year I hope to change that!
DIY Fall Decor
This one is for all the crafty people. I love to sew, but rarely have time. This year I want to make some DIY fall decor. I have already started with some fabric pumpkins they were pretty easy and very cute! I got the inspiration from Liz Fenwick DIY on YouTube.
Baking
I love baking. This is one I do every year! My favorite thing to bake is homemade pecan pies. I usually make these for thanksgiving, but this year I'd like to try my hand at pumpkin pie!
Be sure to let me know whats on your fall bucket list!

I'm going to need the tutorial for the fabric pumpkins!!
