I have a major sweet tooth! Like major! I find myself craving sweets way more often than I should, so I love when I can find a "healthier" version of desserts to satisfy my sweet tooth! Don't get me wrong, I do love sugary desserts that are by no means healthy, but you gotta find balance!

In my attempt to find a delicious healthy cookie recipe, I tried several that were pretty good but not quite what I was looking for. So after a couple of times attempting my own recipe, I have mastered the perfect "healthier" cookie recipe!

The great thing about this recipe is that most of the ingredients you need are probably already in your kitchen, giving you a delicious easy recipe right at your fingertips!

This is a new favorite of mine! Is there a better combo than peanut butter, chocolate, and banana?? I don't think so!

Next time you have some over ripe bananas, put them to good use and enjoy some delicious creamy, peanut buttery, banana, and oat chocolate chip cookies!

Let’s get started.

Ingredients

  • 2 very ripe banana (the more ripe the sweeter!)

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1 tablespoon of honey

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • 3/4th cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350

  2. Mash the bananas and smooth as you can get them

  3. Stir in vanilla and honey

  4. Stir in peanut butter

  5. Stir in oats

  6. Then add the chocolate chips

  7. Spray pan with non stick cooking spray

  8. Spoon dough onto pan to create your desired size cookie

  9. Bake for 15 minutes

  10. Let cool and serve

Enjoy!
