Entering Parenthood Together

Becoming a parent is a beautiful thing and nothing is better than getting to experience that journey with the love of your life. Recently I’ve been thinking of all the rich moments we have experienced since becoming parents and all the ways that becoming parents has grown us in our marriage. We are almost 1 year in to our parenting journey and it has been incredible. I wanted to share some of the aspects of parenthood that I have loved experiencing with my husband. Nothing is better than raising babies with your soul mate.

Nothing strengthens your marriage like no sleep and a baby who can not be consoled. Nothing brings you to your knees together leaning on Christ together more than this.

Nothing is more precious than watching your baby learn and grow together.

Nothing draws you closer together than learning to parent together, after all this is one of the most important things you will ever do.

Nothing makes you cherish your time together more than having to work harder to get that time.

Nothing is sweeter than seeing your baby look just like your spouse.

Nothing is more beautiful than seeing your husband hold his first child for the first time.

Nothing is more surreal than telling your husband you are pregnant.

Nothing is more special than the family time you spend in the evenings.

Nothing makes you appreciate your spouse more than seeing how hard they work for you and your children.

Nothing draws you closer as a couple than pouring your all into raising your baby in a way thy glorifies God.

Nothing is more incredible than looking at where you are now and seeing how far you’ve come on this journey.
